A royal cenotaph complex of carved sandstone domes of the Jaipur rulers, set against the Nahargarh hills.
Gaitore holds the carved chhatris (cenotaphs) of Jaipur's Kachwaha rulers from Sawai Jai Singh II onward, with the white marble canopy of Sawai Jai Singh the highlight. The site is quieter than City Palace and rewards early morning photography, when low sun lights the carving. Entry is about ₹30 for Indians and about ₹100 for foreign visitors per listings, and the site opens in the morning and closes around 5:00PM. Its pillars frame the surrounding hills, and few tour groups arrive before 10:00AM.
