Zagreb's 1,035 m mountain with hiking, cycling and winter skiing, reached from the city centre by a cable car.
Sljeme, at 1,035 metres, is the summit of Medvednica and the closest mountain to Zagreb. The cable car reopened in 2022 and allows a quick ascent from the northern edge of the city. Trails include a ridge walk to Medvedgrad and forest routes. In winter, the Sljeme ski slopes host the Snow Queen Trophy slalom when conditions allow.
