The former home and studio of sculptor Ivan Meštrović, displaying hundreds of his sculptures, drawings and furniture.
Ivan Meštrović (1883-1962), Croatia's most celebrated sculptor, bought this 17th-century Upper Town house in 1922 and lived here until 1942. He donated it to the Croatian people in 1952. The museum displays about 100 bronze, marble and plaster sculptures, plus drawings, models and furnishings. The garden and the original rooms give a sense of the artist's daily life.
