A pair of film-set theme parks built for CCTV dramas, with replica Three Kingdoms palaces and a Song-dynasty town beside Lake Taihu.
The CCTV Wuxi Film and Television Base includes the Three Kingdoms City and the Water Margin City, built for classic television dramas. The sets are full-scale replicas of palaces, camps, harbours and a Song-dynasty town, and daily shows feature battles and cavalry displays.
The site is large and walking-heavy. Many visitors combine it with Yuantouzhu because the two are close together on the lake shore.
