A small pebble and sand cove facing the rock island of Es Vedrà, famous for its sunsets.
Cala d'Hort is a small cove on the south-west coast with a beach of coarse sand and pebbles, a few fishermen's huts and two beach restaurants, and it faces the rock island of Es Vedrà and the smaller Es Vedranell. The sunsets are well known, which means crowded beach and road conditions in July and August; the road is narrow and parking on the verge is fined, so a regulated car park of about 200 spaces was opened in 2025. The old Mirador des Vedrà above the beach has been fenced off by its owner, so the view from the beach itself is the one to enjoy. The water is clear and good for swimming and snorkelling in the cove.
