Praia da Zambujeira do Mar sits directly beneath the clifftop village of the same name, near the southern edge of the Alentejo coast close to the Algarve border, and is regarded as one of the most scenically striking beaches on this stretch of coastline. A seasonal coastal bus connects Zambujeira do Mar to nearby towns, offering an alternative to driving, though most visitors still arrive by car given the beach's relatively remote position near the southern end of the Rota Vicentina.
