Riad Yasmine

Riad Yasmine occupies a restored traditional house in Bab Taghzoute, in the northern Medina near the tanneries and a walkable distance from the Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the souks. The riad is known for bold, colourful zellige tilework and painted ceilings that set it apart from the more muted palettes typical of Marrakech riads, arranged around a courtyard and three separate pools tucked into different corners of the property. Rooms run from Classic Rooms up through Deluxe Rooms to a Suite, each individually decorated with hand-painted tiles and antique furniture. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, which also functions as a lounge and sunset viewpoint over the Medina rooftops. There is no dedicated spa, but the three pools and shaded courtyard give guests several places to relax without leaving the property. Free WiFi and free parking are provided, and the small scale of the riad, with only a handful of rooms, means the owners and staff offer close, personal attention, including help arranging hammam visits, cooking classes and Medina walking tours. Each room is named and decorated around a distinct colour palette, and the courtyard's citrus trees and fountain create a quiet centre away from the busy lanes just outside the riad's door. There is no on-site restaurant beyond breakfast, so staff routinely recommend and book nearby dinner spots, and the location within the tanneries area, while atmospheric, means the immediate streets can be busier and less polished than the riad's own calm interior.
