Riad Papillon

Riad Papillon occupies a restored traditional house on Derb El Hemaria in the Mouassine district of the Medina, near Dar El Bacha Palace and Le Jardin Secret, and within walking distance of the souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa. The riad is intentionally small, with only a handful of ensuite bedrooms arranged around a central courtyard, allowing for close, personalized service from the owners and staff. Rooms are categorized as Superior, Deluxe and Suite, each individually decorated with Moroccan antiques, carved plasterwork and patterned tiling. There is no full restaurant, but meals are prepared to order and served either in the courtyard or on the rooftop terrace, which also houses a plunge pool and lounge seating with views over the Medina rooftops. Hammam treatments can be arranged in-house, and the riad's compact size means staff can tailor Medina tours, dinner reservations and transfers closely to each guest's schedule. Air conditioning is provided throughout, and airport transfers can be arranged on request. The riad's location places it within easy walking distance of the antique dealers and boutiques for which the Mouassine district is known.
