The center's instructors are PADI-affiliated and run a standard pre-dive briefing covering the day's site conditions, hand signals, buddy checks, and the boat's emergency procedures, including the nearest decompression chamber location for serious dive incidents; snorkelers receive a shorter briefing on staying within the marked area and signaling the boat crew if tired. Water temperature and visibility peak from June through September, when the sea reaches 25-29°C and visibility often exceeds 15-25 meters, making this the recommended window for both new snorkelers and divers hoping to see the widest range of reef fish; the broader May-to-October season remains diveable but with cooler water and reduced visibility at the edges.
