The Lal Street Bar Exchange

The Lal Street Bar Exchange is a themed bar in Jayabheri Enclave, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, in the Indian state of Telangana. Its concept borrows from stock trading, and drink prices rise and fall with demand like a stock ticker, a format named after Dalal Street, India's financial centre in Mumbai. Live music adds to the programme. Gachibowli is the heart of Hyderabad's technology and finance district, so the crowd is mostly IT and corporate employees, colleagues on after-work outings and groups of friends in their twenties and thirties. Dress is casual to smart-casual, and guests should bring government photo ID, as the legal drinking age in Telangana is 21.
