What to watch out for on the trail.

Medium

Hazard: Fire-season access: from 1 June to 30 September each year the Bouches-du-Rhone prefecture regulates entry to the forest massifs, calanques included. A colour map for the next day is published each evening on bouches-du-rhone.gouv.fr; green and yellow mean moderate risk, orange means severe risk and entry is discouraged, red means very severe risk and entry is forbidden, and black means exceptional risk and entry is forbidden. Information line 0811 20 13 13 and myprovence.fr/enviedebalade. The 2026 season has ended; the 2027 dates are set by the prefecture each spring.

Medium
