Accommodation overview
Zhengzhou hotels cluster in three zones. Zhengdong New District and the CBD hold the newest five-star and business hotels, including JW Marriott, Novotel and Sheraton Grand. The Jinshui Road corridor has Hilton, Sofitel, Crowne Plaza and several government-run hotels. Erqi Square and Zhengzhou Railway Station in the old centre have InterContinental Grand Centre, ibis Styles, Hantang and other economy hotels. Zhengzhou University and the High-Tech Zone are in the west, and the Xinzheng Airport area, about 40 km from the centre, has a cluster of airport hotels. Foreign guests must register their passport at check-in, and some economy hotels cannot accept foreigners, so confirm before booking.
