Zhengzhou is one of China's main high-speed rail hubs, with Zhengzhou East Railway Station (Zhengzhoudong) on the Beijing-Guangzhou and Xuzhou-Lanzhou lines, plus Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO), about 40 km south-east. Spring (April-May) and autumn (September-October) are the most comfortable seasons for Zhengzhou.
Zhengzhou has a temperate continental monsoon climate. Spring and autumn range about 12-27°C / 54-81°F. Summers exceed 33°C / 91°F with heavy July-August rain, and winters are cold and dry, about -3-8°C / 27-46°F. Spring can bring dust and haze, so check the air quality (AQI) in a weather app before outdoor days.
