Hotel Fasano Punta del Este holds a commanding beachfront position on Playa Brava, the Atlantic-facing beach at Parada 8 in Punta del Este, Uruguay's premier resort destination. The property opened in 2011 as the Brazilian Fasano group's first international expansion, and it occupies the wilder, more energetic side of the Punta del Este peninsula where Atlantic swells produce a more dramatic coastal environment than the calmer Playa Mansa on the bay-facing side.

Philippe Starck-designed beachfront resort epitomizes sophisticated luxury with private beach, three pools, and world-class spa. The 78 rooms and suites feature ocean views, while the acclaimed restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine. It's the choice of celebrities and discerning travelers.

The interiors were conceived with Philippe Starck contributing to the design direction, resulting in a vocabulary of dark hardwoods, aged leather, layered textures, and theatrical lighting that reads as deliberately adult and understated. The 78 rooms and suites are furnished with handcrafted pieces, Italian linens, and rain showers; suites on upper floors include private terraces with Atlantic views. The design avoids the bright resort palette common in beachfront hotels in favor of an atmosphere closer to a design hotel in Buenos Aires or São Paulo.

Fasano's dining operation draws its own following from within Punta del Este. The restaurant sources Uruguayan beef and Atlantic seafood with an emphasis on live-fire cooking and minimal intervention, allowing premium ingredients to define the dishes. The pool bar operates throughout the day, and beachside food-and-beverage service runs during high season. Three pool areas, including an adults-only infinity pool with direct ocean sightlines, give guests options without overcrowding.

The Fasano Spa delivers a full treatment menu including massage therapies, body treatments, and facials in dedicated private cabins. A fitness center, tennis courts, and water sports equipment rental complete the active amenities. A Kids Club operates during the December–February peak season. The concierge team is oriented toward high-end service: restaurant reservations, private yacht charters, and helicopter transfers from Montevideo and Buenos Aires.
