Viajero Punta del Este Hostel operates on Calle 28 in the Punta del Este township, roughly 600 metres from Playa Mansa and equidistant between the beaches on both sides of the peninsula. The building stands on a residential street set back from the resort's commercial core, which keeps noise levels manageable by hostel standards while still placing guests within walking distance of restaurants, nightclubs, and the casino strip along Gorlero Avenue. Dormitory beds come in six- and eight-bunk configurations with individual reading lights and USB charging points at each bunk. Shared bathrooms are divided by gender and cleaned multiple times daily during January–February peak. The outdoor pool is the property's social centrepiece, active from morning until sunset, with a resident DJ or live music on weekends in high season.
