Parador de Ribadeo

Parador de Ribadeo is situated in the town of Ribadeo at the easternmost point of Galicia's coastline, where the Eo river estuary forms the boundary between Galicia and Asturias. The hotel occupies a restored early-twentieth-century manor house positioned to take full advantage of sweeping views across the Eo inlet toward the Asturian coast and the Atlantic beyond. Ribadeo is a compact market town with a historic centre, a working fishing port, and direct access to some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in northern Spain.

The building follows the Paradores network's characteristic approach of adapting architecturally significant regional buildings for contemporary hospitality use. Rooms are decorated in a period-sympathetic style with quality furnishings; Superior Sea View rooms and Suites face the Eo estuary and deliver the property's defining panorama, with the light over the water changing through the day. Standard rooms face the town garden, which is pleasant but lacks the estuary outlook.
