The Path of Remembrance and Comradeship (Pot spominov in tovarištva, usually abbreviated PST) is a roughly 34 km circular walk around Ljubljana that follows the line of the barbed-wire fence with which Italian occupation forces encircled the city from February 1942 until May 1945. The path was laid out and opened in 1985, and it is marked by a trail of numbered stones and wooden signs.

The path was laid out and opened in 1985, and it is marked by a trail of numbered stones and wooden signs. Almost all of it runs through woodland, meadows and village edges on the city fringe, so it passes the Tivoli, Rožnik, Šiška, Dravlje, Golovec and Rakovnik areas. The trail is traditionally done in sections of a few hours each, or in a single day of seven to nine hours by fit walkers; it is also popular with runners and cyclists on its easier stretches. A map is available from the Tourist Information Centre and stamps can be collected at inns along the route. Elevation changes are modest, around 500 m in total, and the surface is mostly packed gravel, forest track and road. Hikers will find water and food in several villages, so full supplies are not essential.
