The resort was designed to replicate an authentic Qatari village at the human scale, and the architecture delivers on that ambition. Whitewashed wind towers, traditional barjeel-style ventilation structures, shaded inner courtyards, narrow pedestrian souq-style lanes, and arched doorways define the low-rise complex opened in 2007.
