Port Grand, Native Jetty Bridge

Port Grand is a waterfront food and entertainment complex built across Native Jetty Bridge, a 19th-century structure connecting the Karachi Port Trust area to Keamari, and it functions as one of Karachi's largest evening leisure venues rather than a conventional bar or club. The crowd is broad and family-heavy, spanning young couples, groups of friends, and multi-generational families who come for the roughly dozen restaurants, harbor views, and nightly street performances, which include bicycle stunt acts, puppet shows, and fire performers staged along the boardwalk. Dress is casual, and the complex does not serve alcohol; drinks across its restaurants are limited to soft drinks, juices, shakes, and tea, with the entertainment and setting rather than any drinks programme forming the draw. There is no music venue as such, though restaurants play ambient background music and the street performers provide the evening's live entertainment. Port Grand keeps an unusual weekly schedule: it is closed to walk-in visitors over lunch on weekdays but opens 5PM to 11:45PM most evenings, with a midday session added on Sundays. A nominal complex entry ticket is charged at the gate in addition to a la carte dining charged separately by each restaurant; there is no bottle service or table-reservation system for the complex as a whole, though some individual restaurants inside take their own bookings.
