Sindh occupies the lower Indus Valley and Pakistan's Arabian Sea coastline, with Karachi serving as the country's largest city, main seaport, and financial capital. Beyond Karachi's Clifton Beach, Mohatta Palace, and Quaid-e-Azam's Mazar, the province holds some of the world's most important archaeological and heritage sites: the Indus Valley Civilization ruins at Mohenjo-daro near Larkana, and the vast Makli Necropolis at Thatta, both inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Sufi devotional culture runs deep here, centered on the shrines of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif and Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai in Bhit Shah. Getting around Sindh

Sindh's transport spine runs along the Karachi-Peshawar Pakistan Railways mainline, which links Karachi Cantt, Hyderabad Junction, and Sukkur Junction with daily trains such as the Green Line Express and Tezgam, supplemented by AC coach operators like Daewoo Express on the same corridor. Karachi itself depends mainly on ride-hailing apps (inDrive, the clear market leader, and Yango), auto-rickshaws, and buses, since the Karachi Circular Railway remains only partially revived and there is no metro system. Outside Karachi and Hyderabad, Qingqi shared rickshaws and hired cars with drivers are the practical way to reach smaller towns and rural sites such as Thatta, Sehwan Sharif, and Bhit Shah, since self-drive rental is uncommon and interior Sindh's extreme summer heat makes road planning around the cooler hours essential.
