Sefrou is a historic town at the foot of the Middle Atlas in Morocco's Fès-Meknès region, about 28 kilometres south of Fès, known for its fruit orchards and a compact medina crossed by the Aggaï river. The town is famous for its cherries and hosts the annual Cherry Festival in June, and in March and April the orchards on the surrounding slopes flower in white and pink blossom.

The frame is a layered view of blossoming trees in the foreground, with the medina rooftops, the minaret and the hills behind, or a close composition of blossom and bees with a macro lens. Golden hour brings warm side-light that lights the petals and separates the trees from the background, and early morning offers calm air that reduces the movement of branches. A standard zoom handles landscape compositions, while a macro lens suits detail work. The best season is spring, with the blossom lasting only a couple of weeks, and the timing shifts from year to year with the weather, so visitors should check local reports. In June the cherry harvest adds market scenes and festival activity. The orchards are mostly privately owned, so visitors should stay on public paths and ask before entering, and picking fruit or branches should be avoided. No entrance fee applies to the town or the public viewpoints. Crowds are light outside festival time. Tripods are practical in the orchards and on paths, but drones require authorisation in Morocco and are not suitable near homes. Cafés in the town centre provide restrooms and water, and the medina streets are walkable on mostly level ground.
