Chichibu Geo Gravity Park Canyon Walk and Fly

Chichibu Geo Gravity Park is a canyon-based adventure park set in the Arakawa valley of Chichibu, Saitama, built around a series of ziplines, a suspended walkway, and a large canyon swing strung over a forested gorge. The signature Canyon Walk and Fly combines a roughly 100m suspended bridge crossing with a dual zipline run across the valley, while the separate Canyon Swing sends participants on a pendulum drop over the gorge for a higher-intensity option. Basic fitness is required to climb platform stairs and step off elevated launch points, but no prior harness or climbing experience is needed since guides clip participants in and control the ride; the park enforces posted minimum and maximum weight limits and a minimum age, typically excluding very young children from the higher-intensity attractions. A full-body harness and helmet are provided and fitted by staff, and closed-toe shoes are required for all activities. The park is operated by Gravity Park Japan, a company specialising in canyon and gravity-based adventure attractions across Japan, and its Chichibu site is staffed by guides trained in the local rigging and rescue systems for the specific towers and cables. Every session begins with a safety briefing covering harness checks, hand positions, and the self-arrest and staff-assisted rescue procedure used if a rider stops mid-line. The park operates from March through November and closes temporarily in high winds, lightning, or heavy rain, since the ziplines and swing are fully exposed over the canyon. Photography from the platforms is generally allowed, though loose items should be secured before launching.
