Zip-Line Adventure Lake Suwa

The zip-line course at Suwa Adventure Park runs through forested hillside above Lake Suwa in Chino City, Nagano, offering multiple lines with views over the lake and the surrounding Suwa basin. No prior experience is needed, and the course is designed to be family-friendly, with a minimum participant height of 130 cm and a maximum weight of 100 kg. All safety equipment, including the climbing harness and helmet, is provided on-site by Suwa Adventure Park staff, who fit each participant and give a safety briefing on clipping in, body position, and landing technique before the first line. The park is a locally operated attraction with staff stationed at each platform to supervise the course and assist participants who need help. Closed-toe shoes are required, and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing is recommended since some platforms are exposed to wind. The park operates from April to November, with May through October offering the most reliable weather for a full course experience; wetter spring and late-autumn days can shorten hours or limit line availability. A visit typically takes two to three hours including the briefing and multiple runs, and the park sits about 2 kilometres from Chino station, making it an easy add-on to a day spent around Lake Suwa.
