Aoos Springs Konitsa

Konitsa is a small mountain town in northern Epirus, approximately 65 km north of Ioannina via the E853 national road and roughly 15 km south of the Albanian border. The town is best known for the landmark single-arch stone bridge spanning the Aoos river just below the settlement, and for the Vikos-Aoos National Park that surrounds it on three sides. The Aoos river draws white-water rafting, kayaking, and canyon hiking, with the Aoos Gorge trail accessible from the edge of town. The Timfi massif rises sharply to the east, offering multi-day ridge routes and access to the alpine Drakolimni lake circuit.

Aoos Springs sits on the riverfront edge of Konitsa with terrace views across the Aoos valley, functioning as the area's most prominent outdoors-oriented accommodation.
