About Epirus
Epirus (Ήπειρος) occupies the northwestern corner of Greece and is one of the country's most unspoiled regions. The Pindus Mountains define its interior, sheltering traditional villages like Metsovo, Papingo, and Monodendri. The Vikos Gorge, listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's deepest canyon relative to its width, draws hikers from across Europe.
