Yantai Nightlife Guide 2026

Experience the best bars, clubs, and nightlife Yantai has to offer.

Yantai is a coastal prefecture-level city on the Shandong Peninsula where the Bohai Sea meets the Yellow Sea, known for the historic foreign-consulate district of Yantai Hill, the Fairy-Mountain city of Penglai and its Four Great Ancient Towers pavilion, China's oldest winery at Changyu, long sandy beaches, seafood, apples and pears, and ferry links across the Bohai Strait to Dalian and toward South Korea.

Yantai's evening scene is modest compared to Qingdao or Shanghai and centers on the restored Chaoyang Street heritage strip in Zhifu District, where European-facade buildings from the 1861 treaty-port era house craft beer, cider and wine bars alongside seafood stalls. The Nan Dajie / South Avenue and Wanda Plaza area adds karaoke (KTV) venues, a cinema and late-night dining rather than dedicated nightclubs, and the coastal hotel resorts in Laishan District (Sheraton Yantai Golden Beach) offer a quieter lounge-bar alternative near Golden Beach.
