Kangbo Hotel People's Square Guilin Road

Kangbo Hotel People's Square Guilin Road (康铂酒店) is a midscale chain hotel on Guilin Road near People's Square (Renmin Square) in central Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province in northeast China. Kangbo is a mid-market brand, and its Changchun branch provides modern, clean rooms and standardised service at moderate prices. The address places guests close to the city's central square and the Renmin Street boulevard, so the Jilin Provincial Government buildings, commercial streets, department stores and restaurants are within walking distance or a short taxi ride. Changchun Railway Station lies to the north, and the Puppet Emperor's Palace can be reached by taxi in around 20 minutes depending on traffic. Rooms are listed as Standard, Double, Twin and Family categories, with wifi, an on-site restaurant and a 24-hour front desk that suits late train arrivals. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, and nearby streets offer northeastern dishes such as dumplings, barbecue and pork stews at modest prices. The hotel has no pool or fitness centre listed, so the focus is on a convenient location and a reliable bed. Typical off-peak rates run from about 170 to 300 yuan per night, which is good value for a central address; prices rise on public holidays and winter weekends. Service is polite and standardised, and English may be limited. Winters in Changchun are long and cold, with January temperatures often around -20 C, so a central hotel with heating and short transfers to restaurants and shops is a practical advantage. The property suits business visitors with meetings downtown, independent travellers exploring the historic centre and families who want easy access to public transport. Visitors should confirm the exact street entrance, as the address is given only as Guilin Road near People's Square.
