Jinjiang Inn Railway Station

Jinjiang Inn Railway Station (锦江之星长春火车站店) is an economy chain hotel on Zhejiang Road near Changchun Railway Station in the Kuancheng area, in northern central Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province in northeast China. Jinjiang Inn is among China's largest budget hotel brands, known for simple, clean rooms, standardised service and low prices. The hotel's main advantage is its proximity to the railway station, which is the city's principal rail hub for conventional services and a gateway for travellers heading to other parts of Jilin, Heilongjiang and Liaoning. The station area is a busy transport district with taxis, buses and the metro, along with fast-food outlets, noodle shops, pharmacies and small supermarkets, and it is open at all hours. Renmin Street begins nearby and runs south toward People's Square, so the city centre is a short taxi or bus ride away, while the Puppet Emperor's Palace and the historic former Manchukuo government buildings lie further south-east. Rooms are listed as Standard, Double and Twin categories with wifi, air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk, which suits early departures and late-night arrivals. There is no restaurant, pool or fitness centre listed, so breakfast depends on the many cafes and noodle shops nearby. Typical off-peak rates run from about 110 to 200 yuan per night, among the lowest in the city; prices rise on public holidays, Spring Festival travel periods and winter weekends. Service is functional and efficient, and English is limited, so a translation app helps. The hotel suits transit travellers, backpackers and business visitors wanting a clean bed close to the station. The station neighbourhood can be noisy and crowded, so light sleepers should request an upper floor.
