Kunshan (昆山) is a county-level city in Jiangsu province, eastern China, administered by Suzhou and bordering Shanghai. It is the birthplace of Kunqu opera, the home of the water towns Zhouzhuang, Jinxi and Qiandeng, and one of China's wealthiest manufacturing cities.
Kunshan is a business and manufacturing city with a quiet nightlife. Evening life centres on mall dining, foot-massage and spa houses, and a handful of live-music and cocktail bars around Qianjin Road and the Huaqiao district. Zhouzhuang and Jinxi old towns have lantern-lit canals but close early.

Nightlife tips
