Shenzhou Bird Park Waterside

Shenzhou Bird Park Waterside (神州鸟园) is a bird-themed park within the Kaiyuan Tourist Area at Ganhechen, in Yuanhui District, Luohe, Henan Province, China. It lies about 4 km south of central Luohe. Despite its listing in the beaches category, it is not a sand or pebble beach: Luohe is an inland city, and the waterside here is part of a themed leisure park rather than a swimming shore. The main draw is the bird park itself, with the water setting adding scenery for walks and photographs. Because the park is a managed attraction, conditions are calm, with no surf or tide, and the shape is that of a landscaped park rather than a natural cove. Water colour and clarity are those of a park water feature or river and should not be compared to a coastal beach, and swimming is not a recognised activity. The vibe is family-oriented and leisurely, appealing to parents with children, groups of friends and visitors interested in birds. Listed amenities include the bird park and an on-site restaurant, which makes it one of the easier water-related stops in Luohe for a meal during the visit. Sun loungers and lifeguards are not part of the offer. Opening hours and ticket prices are not confirmed here, so visitors should check locally or through a mapping app before travelling, as entry arrangements for the bird park may differ from the surrounding grounds. Access is by taxi or DiDi from central Luohe, costing roughly ¥10-15 (about $1.50-2), and the short 4 km distance makes the trip simple. Parking pressure is not a concern for taxi passengers. The best months are April to June and September to October, when the weather is mild and birds and greenery are at their most appealing. Summer afternoons are hot and humid, so morning visits are more comfortable, and the park can be combined with other sights in the Kaiyuan area for a half-day outing.
