Jolie Vue Boutique Hotel Guilin

Jolie Vue Boutique Hotel Guilin is at No. 8 Binjiang Road on the Li River waterfront in the Xiangshan District of Guilin, Guangxi, China. The address places the hotel near Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of the city where the Li River and Peach Blossom River meet, and the Sun and Moon Pagodas, which stand a short distance away on Shanhu Lake. Zhengyang Pedestrian Street and the central shopping and dining district can also be reached on foot along the riverside.

The hotel is a small boutique property rather than a large chain tower, and its main appeal is the combination of river views and personal scale. Guests on Booking.com rate it 9.3 out of 10, which converts to 4.7 on this guide's scale and is among the highest scores of Guilin's central hotels. Typical four-star rates in the city are about ¥425 (roughly $63) per night, which gives a sense of the likely price band.

Room types are the Standard Room and the River View Room, equipped with air conditioning and wifi. The River View Room is the room to request for sweeping views of the Li River and the karst skyline. Dining details are not published for the property, so guests usually eat at the many restaurants and snack shops within walking distance, including Guilin rice noodle shops and Guangxi restaurants around the pedestrian street. No spa or pool is listed.

Service character is intimate and tourist-oriented, which suits couples and independent travellers who value a quiet riverside location over extensive facilities. Staff can usually advise on Li River cruises to Yangshuo and on evening walks along the riverfront.
