Detian Waterfall (from Nanning)

Detian Waterfall sits 196km from Nanning in Daxin County, Chongzuo City, on the China-Vietnam border, reached in 2.5-3 hours by a direct tourist bus departing the Nanning International Tourism Distribution Centre at 7:30 AM (¥100-150 round trip) or by private car or tour (¥400-600 total). Given the travel distance, it is best treated as a long single day trip or, ideally, an overnight in Daxin County. Billed as Asia's largest transnational waterfall, the falls tumble over several limestone tiers on the Guichun River into a shared pool visible from both the Chinese and Vietnamese sides, with bamboo rafts available to approach the base up close.
