Shenzhen Talent Park is a compact waterfront park along Houhai Avenue in Nanshan District, positioned where the Houhai business and residential district meets Shenzhen Bay. The park is landscaped with lawns, sculptures, and a paved promenade that connects into the broader Shenzhen Bay Park waterfront path, making it a natural extension for a longer bayside walk. Its name reflects its origin as a symbolic space honoring skilled professionals who contributed to the city's development, and a handful of commemorative sculptures and plaques along the promenade reference this theme. Most visitors use the park simply as a quiet waterfront stop for a walk, a run, or to watch the sunset over the bay toward the hills on the Hong Kong side. A visit takes about an hour, easily extended by continuing along the connected promenade into Shenzhen Bay Park itself. Evening is the best time, when the sunset colors the water and the surrounding Houhai skyline begins to light up, drawing local residents out for an after-work stroll. The park is open around the clock with no admission, and weekday evenings tend to be calmer than weekends, when the promenade sees heavier foot and bike traffic.
