Spring Creek Ranch

Spring Creek Ranch occupies a 1,000-acre wildlife sanctuary on East Glenwood Butte, a mesa rising approximately 1,000 feet above the Snake River valley on the east side of Jackson. The ridge position produces panoramic views of the Teton Range along its full length, from the north end of Grand Teton National Park to the southern peaks. The address at 1800 Spirit Dance Road is 12 miles from Teton Village and 5 miles from downtown Jackson, reached by a winding road that climbs the butte. The property offers the widest accommodation range in the Jackson Hole area: hotel-style rooms, studio through three-bedroom condominiums with full kitchens, traditional log cabins with kitchenettes, and two-story chalets suited to multi-generational groups. The Granary Restaurant occupies a converted 1890s barn perched at the butte's edge, serving regional American cuisine at dinner with Grand Teton views from every table; the combination of the historic timber interior and the unobstructed mountain backdrop makes it one of the most atmospheric dining rooms in the valley. An outdoor heated pool and hot tub are available in warmer months, and two hard-surface tennis courts operate through summer. The wildlife refuge on the property hosts elk, mule deer, moose, coyotes, and raptors year-round, with elk concentrations peaking in early spring and fall. Summer horseback trail rides depart from the on-site equestrian center, and the butte's rim trail provides an accessible 30-minute hike with valley overlooks. Winter road access is maintained and a ski shuttle serves Jackson Hole Mountain Resort daily.
