Amangani stands on East Glenwood Ridge at roughly 6,800 feet above sea level, with unobstructed views of the Grand Teton and the Snake River valley from its perch above Jackson town. The drive from Jackson Hole Airport takes approximately 30 minutes, positioning the resort as a quiet retreat above the valley floor while keeping downtown Jackson, Grand Teton National Park, and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort within reach. Opened in 1998 and designed by Edward Tuttle in warm sandstone, cedar, and glass, the resort channels a spare, contemplative aesthetic suited to the high-desert plateau. It comprises 40 suites across three categories — Suite, Grand Suite, and Pool Suite — all with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the Tetons; Pool Suites add private heated plunge pools on their decks. The Aman Spa delivers a full menu of body treatments in a serene facility with steam rooms and private couple's suites; a dedicated fitness studio adjoins it. The infinity-edge pool, heated and open year-round, appears to extend over the ridge toward the mountain range and ranks among the most photographed vantage points in Wyoming. The Restaurant serves regionally inspired American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, drawing on Wyoming-raised proteins and seasonal produce; it is the sole dining venue on-site. A ski concierge books passes, arranges equipment rental, and coordinates transport to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in winter, while summer programming extends to guided hikes, fly-fishing, and horseback riding through the valley.
