Knob Hill Inn

Knob Hill Inn occupies a prominent position at 960 North Main Street in Ketchum, Idaho, at the base of the mountains rising toward Bald Mountain and the Sun Valley ski area approximately one mile to the south. Opened in 1991, the inn was designed in an Austrian alpine style that mirrors the European heritage of the Sun Valley ski culture — steeply pitched rooflines, hand-painted shutters, and a stone foundation base are deliberate references to the villages of the Tyrol rather than generic mountain lodge aesthetics. The 26-room property is boutique by design, with a guest-to-staff ratio that allows for attentive, personalized service without resort-scale formality. Room categories span Standard Rooms and King Rooms through Mini Suites and full Suites; all rooms feature mountain views, and upper-floor suites have panoramic sightlines across the Wood River Valley and the surrounding ridgelines.
