Café du Port

Café du Port sits on the Kordon Boyu, Çanakkale's celebrated promenade that hugs the Dardanelles Strait, offering an uninterrupted view of the water and the ferry traffic moving between the European and Asian shores. The café serves an all-day menu spanning Turkish morning classics—menemen (eggs scrambled with tomatoes and peppers), fresh börek pastry, and simit—through light international plates in the afternoon and evening. The Turkish breakfast spread is a point of pride: small bowls of white cheese, black and green olives, honey, clotted cream (kaymak), tomatoes, cucumbers, and bread arrive on a tray alongside a tall glass of brewed tea. The dining space opens outward onto the promenade terrace, where tables face the strait and the view shifts with the hour—bright and hazy at noon, amber at sunset.
