Çınar Restaurant stands on Sahil Yolu in the Çalış beach neighbourhood of Fethiye, Muğla, positioned along a waterfront promenade that looks across Fethiye Bay toward the town marina and the wooded islands offshore. Grilled sea bass is the kitchen's primary recommendation as a main, arriving whole and typically accompanied by a simple salad and bread. The wine list covers a short selection of Turkish whites, which pair well with the seafood focus; house Aegean white offers the best value. Service is casual and quick during lunch, more attentive in the evening. Çalış runs a seasonal dolmuş boat from the main Fethiye quay, making the restaurant reachable without a car. Reservations are accepted by telephone but the restaurant can usually accommodate walk-in diners except on peak-season weekend evenings.
