Halikarnas Open-Air Club is among the most iconic nightlife venues in Turkey, a cliff-top outdoor mega-disco in Bodrum, Muğla, that has been operating since the late 1970s. Positioned on Cumhuriyet Caddesi overlooking the Aegean, the venue stages its events across a series of terraces cut into the cliff, with the main dancefloor open to the sky at an elevation that places it directly above the illuminated coastline below. The club's signature is spectacle: nightly fire shows, laser arrays, and pyrotechnics frame the headline DJ sets, which run from approximately 01:00 to 04:00 on peak nights. International DJs appear throughout the summer calendar (Thursday to Sunday, May to October), drawn from the house, techno, and progressive dance circuits. Resident DJs open each night before headliners take over. The main dancefloor accommodates several thousand guests on the busiest weekend nights. The crowd is cosmopolitan and young — primarily tourists in their twenties and early thirties from across Western Europe, alongside Turkish visitors from Istanbul and Ankara. Dress expectations are smart-casual; beachwear and athletic wear are turned away at the door. The door team exercises discretion on peak nights, and long queues form from midnight onwards. Cover charges (₺300–₺600) typically include one drink. Bottle service on the cliff-edge VIP terraces requires advance booking and a significant minimum spend. Additional drinks are priced at the premium end of the Bodrum scale. The venue does not operate outside the summer season.
