Arslantepe Kahvaltı Evi in Orduzu Mahallesi, eastern Malatya, sits near the Arslantepe archaeological mound — a UNESCO World Heritage Site containing remains of a Late Chalcolithic palatial complex dating to approximately 3300 BCE, among the oldest known palatial buildings in human history. The breakfast house draws on this proximity, positioning itself as the natural stop for visitors arriving early to tour the site before it grows busy, or departing after a morning of archaeological exploration.

The kitchen produces a village-style Turkish breakfast spread (köy kahvaltısı) that assembles the standard components of the Anatolian morning table in generous form: freshly baked flatbread and pide, multiple varieties of white cheese (taze beyaz peynir ranging from mild fresh curd to aged crumbles), honey in the comb from local apiaries, black and green olives, eggs boiled or fried to order, and several homemade jams with apricot-based preserves as the centrepiece. The house apricot jam is made from fruit grown in the orchards of the Malatya plain and represents the most direct connection to the region's defining agricultural product; the taste differs markedly from commercially produced jams in both sweetness and apricot intensity. Butter from local dairies and a selection of honey varieties complete the spread.

Çay is served throughout from a samovar and is replenished continuously; the breakfast is designed for the unhurried pace of a morning before outdoor or cultural activity. The setting is modest and rural in character, suited to the agricultural landscape of the Orduzu area. Walk-in service only; the kitchen operates exclusively until early afternoon and does not serve lunch dishes or dinner. Apricot preserves are sometimes available for separate purchase at the counter.
