Rumi Hotel & Spa takes its name from the 13th-century Persian poet and Sufi mystic Jalal ad-Din Rumi — known in Turkish as Mevlana — whose shrine and museum stand approximately 400 metres from the hotel's entrance on Ferit Paşa Caddesi in the Karatay district.
