Segovia

Segovia is a walled city on a rocky spur in Castile and León, built around a Roman aqueduct that still stands at full height through the center of town. It combines a Roman engineering landmark, a Gothic cathedral, and a hilltop fortress said to have influenced the look of Disney's Cinderella Castle, all within a compact old town you can walk in a day. The pace is unhurried compared with Toledo, and the surrounding plateau gives long views from the Alcázar's terraces.
