Seville travel guide — where to stay, what to do, and where to eat in Seville, Andalusia, Spain.
Seville has a semi-arid Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. It is the hottest city in Western Europe, regularly recording 40–44°C (104–111°F) in July and August. Spring (March–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most pleasant conditions at 18–26°C (64–79°F). Rainfall is concentrated in winter (Nov–Feb); summers are almost completely dry.
Best time to visit
Best: March–May and October–November
Peak Season: April (Semana Santa and Feria de Abril, prices triple), July–August (extreme heat but lower hotel prices)
Avoid: July–August midday heat (40°C+); Feria and Semana Santa week if booking last-minute (sold out months ahead)
