Delaire Graff Estate sits at the top of the Helshoogte Pass linking Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, about ten minutes' drive from central Stellenbosch and a similar distance from Franschhoek's restaurant strip, making it a convenient base for exploring both towns' wine routes. The estate was rebuilt from an existing vineyard property by diamond jeweller Laurence Graff, and the architecture mixes traditional Cape Dutch gables with contemporary glass and stone pavilions set into the hillside, all displaying pieces from Graff's private art collection. Accommodation comprises 10 Lodge Suites and 6 Owner's Cottages, each with its own private plunge pool and uninterrupted views over the vineyards toward the Simonsberg and Groot Drakenstein mountains. The estate runs two restaurants — the fine-dining Delaire Graff Restaurant and the more relaxed Indochine — plus a working cellar producing its own wines, with tastings and cellar tours available to guests.
