Nasseef House, also spelled Naseef or Nassif, is the best-known building in Al-Balad, Jeddah. Merchant Omar Effendi Nasseef built it in the early 1880s, and it is a multi-storey tower of coral stone with carved wooden roshan windows and a wide ramp-like staircase that once let camels carry goods inside. King Abdulaziz stayed here after taking Jeddah in 1925, which adds to its importance in Saudi history.

Today it is a cultural house museum run with the Historic Jeddah programme, with rooms that show the layout of a wealthy Hejazi merchant home and exhibitions on local heritage. A visit takes about 45 to 60 minutes, and the upper floors offer a view across the old city. Opening hours and entry rules have changed in recent years, so visitors should check on arrival.
