Palm groves, fountains and terraces lit after sunset.
As Safiyyah Museum and Park combines palm groves on terraces, water features and cafes in a landscaped complex of about 4,400 square metres, open until 23:30 Saturday to Thursday and until midnight on Friday. After dusk the terraces and fountains are lit, which makes it a good place for evening photography near the Prophet's Mosque. The park is free, and tripods are best avoided in busy areas. Visitors who are not Muslim should confirm access at the entrance because the site is in the central area.
