Prices reflect the hours of hand labour involved, so a large tablecloth can run into several hundred euros, while smaller items such as napkins or handkerchiefs are far more affordable; prices are fixed and clearly marked, and bargaining is not customary. The shop accepts both cash and card, and staff are accustomed to arranging shipping for visitors buying larger pieces that are impractical to carry. On some visits, embroiderers can be seen working by hand in or near the showroom, offering a rare look at the stitching techniques behind the goods. The atmosphere is that of a formal boutique rather than a market stall, with attentive staff and no food service on site, and it draws a steady mix of independent travellers and organised tour groups throughout the day.
