Moon Hostel Warsaw sits on Dobra Street in the Śródmieście district, on the west bank of the Vistula River approximately 800 metres south of the National Stadium and a short walk from the wide riverfront promenade that has become one of the city's main recreational corridors. The Copernicus Science Centre is under 500 metres north along the riverbank; the Old Town is roughly 1.5 kilometres north-west, accessible on foot through the Mariensztat neighbourhood. Bus routes on Dobra connect to the central Centrum metro station in around 10 minutes.

The hostel building is a mid-century Warsaw tenement, a building type that survived the city's wartime destruction in this lower-riverside zone. The interior design takes the artistic character of the surrounding neighbourhood as its reference point, with painted murals on common-area walls, eclectic furniture, and a gallery-style hanging of local work in the lounge. The approach results in spaces that feel considered rather than institutional, which is the dominant aesthetic in the budget sector.

Accommodation covers mixed and female-only dormitories in four- to ten-bed configurations, plus a number of private rooms suitable for couples or solo travellers who prefer a door that locks. Dormitory beds are full-sized with individual power sockets, reading lights, and personal curtain screens in the larger dorm formats. The on-site bar operates in the evenings and functions as the hostel's social anchor without generating the noise levels of a dedicated party property.

A communal kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a full gas hob, oven, fridge, and utensil stock; the adjacent food market on Dobra provides inexpensive fresh produce. Bike rental from reception opens the city's extensive cycle network, including the dedicated lane running along the Vistula embankment north toward the Old Town and south toward the Siekierkowski bridge. The neighbourhood's independent bar and restaurant scene, concentrated on Zabkowska Street across the river in Praga and on nearby Nowy Swiat, gives the hostel strong access to Warsaw's more locally oriented nightlife.
