Home Lima occupies a restored colonial-era house on Calle Domeyer in Barranco, just steps from the Bridge of Sighs and the district's concentration of restaurants, art galleries, and ocean-view lookouts. Rather than the region's typical converted mansion turned into a large hotel, the property has been kept deliberately small, with only ten rooms arranged around a lovely interior patio garden, giving it an intimate, homestay-like feel that trades scale for character. Rooms are simply furnished and decorated with local Peruvian art and crafts, reflecting the house's colonial bones while keeping the atmosphere personal rather than formal. There is no full restaurant, but free breakfast is included each morning and guests have access to a common kitchen for preparing their own meals, along with the patio as a shared space to relax between excursions. Home Lima has no spa, pool, or fitness facilities, keeping its focus on the guesthouse experience itself. Service centers on the hosts, who greet guests personally, run a small tour desk for arranging Lima and regional excursions, and provide laundry and luggage storage, making the property especially well suited to couples and solo travelers who want a warm, low-key welcome rather than a large hotel's anonymity.
