The Busy Bee Cafe
Pokhara's longest-running and most beloved bar, a warm, low-lit Lakeside institution that has served trekkers for decades. Live music most evenings (acoustic or folk), an excellent cocktail menu, cold local beer, and the kind of atmosphere that draws people back night after night. The owner and long-term staff know many regulars by name.
Or2K Bar (Rooftop)
The rooftop bar at Or2K restaurant on Lakeside Road provides one of the best sunset spots in Pokhara, with views over Phewa Lake as the sky turns pink and orange behind the Annapurna foothills. The cocktail menu is the best in Lakeside - the mojito is particularly good.
Caffe Concerto Bar
The bar at Caffe Concerto is the most sophisticated drinks experience in central Pokhara. An excellent selection of Italian wines, imported spirits, and expertly made cocktails. More expensive than typical Lakeside bars but the lakeside terrace and quality make it worth it for a special evening.
